Fireplace Surround with Niche in Carleton Place

We built out this fireplace surround in a Carleton Place living room, with a recessed niche set into a clean drywall bump-out. The niche has a wood sill and a power outlet inside, and baseboard wraps around the whole surround so it looks like it was always part of the room. It sits below a floating mantel shelf, with the TV mounted above.
